Ok, today, I have:
- finished grading a stack of portfolios
- prepped for 3 sections
- gone to the employee meeting for My Bar
- answered student emails
- finish the next stack (major arguments turned in late, so it's not a full stack; phew)
- print feedback for the first stack to turn back
- print the extra credit that got emailed in over the weekend
- finish another stack
- teach three sections
- read a short story and a poem, so I can
- prep African American Lit for the week
- grade discussion board posts for African American lit

- finish the stack I most certainly won't have actually finished by then

Reading that last post, I realize I'm not building in mental-health sustaining items to my lists. So:
- sit mindful meditation
- do walking/driving/dish-doing meditation at every possible turn
- call the folks who love me and ask to hear reassuring words
- be as nice as possible to SLP
- welcome SLP being as nice as possible--really work to see everything good about him and about what he does
- eat healthy food that I like
- eat some not healthy food that I like
- have sex as much as I can
- make time to watch recreational tv once a day
- get some damned sun
- stay up late and sleep late, as that's ultimately my most naturally productive schedule after more than a decade of working nights
- be as nice to myself as humanly possible
- fake it like motherfucking crazy till i motherfucking make it, every five minutes, if necessary

- wrote out a bunch of grouped readings of my literary texts in marxist theory, and a few others
- planned study session with Heartswater for Sunday
- got a call from a mentor about a job as assistant director of the honors program at My Institution
- will now go home and finish the dishes

- make charts of theory/text connections with PTM, shero of my life

- despaired a bit
